Position: Project Manager – Fixed Services Launch

The Role:
You will be responsible to project manage Nawras residential fixed product development projects up to commercial launch. You will be part of the Product Management team to manage the planning, deliverables and issues/actions and follow-up for specific functional areas (IT, Eng’, Billing, Network, Customer Care, Sales & Commercial).

Products:

•  Home Broadband & Fixed Voice (WiMax access)

•  Carrier Select

•  Prepaid Calling Cards

You will be translating the functional requirements related to the business fixnet services into detailed business requirements and design processes together with the respective line organisations.

As a project manager you will also be responsible to:

• create a detailed project plan for the product implementation & launch and manage progress cross-functionally
   

• Project Managers manage the line organization to plan for integration and support of the new product(s) within their line area and assist line management
   

• Project Managers prepare UAT/FUT and Business Simulation
   

• Project Managers pull regular updates from line organization to support conformance to project plan, or identify slippage and interdependencies and consequences
   

• Project manager coordinates and communicates synergies and progress across products under development and across segments (Business, Residential)
   

• Project Managers facilitate escalation to PMO and through PMO to EXCO/F-EXCO
   

The Person:
You have a University degree (Commercial, IT, Telecom or MBA) with at least 5 year’s working experience in telecommunications industry as project/programme manager. You have experience in fixed telecommunication industry, in particular, in WiMAX and fixed voice services will be an advantage, you have a broad knowledge in its responsible area (e.g. IT, Network, Commercial). You have experience in acting as a project manager at least for one successful mobile/fixed service launch. You are a certified project manager.

You have strong planning and organisation skills. You have excellent communication skills and you are relentlessly following-up key issues and actions. You have strong desire and skill to drive the cross functional activities to achieve the targets and you can demonstrate exceptional commitment towards the overall successfulness of project. You are exceptionally efficient in organising (meeting facilitations, multi-tasking, support the team to achieve targets, effective escalations.
