The state-of-the-art Nawras EGDE 2.75G mobile broadband network is constantly expanding. We covered around 75% of the population by the end of 2005 and are expecting to have around 85% population coverage by end of 2006.

Our national roaming agreement with Oman Mobile allows our customers to use Oman Mobile’s network in areas where our best quality EDGE network is not yet rolled out. Thus, we provide the widest network coverage in the Sultanate, covering about 95% of the population from Musandam in the north to Dhofar in the south. And if this wasn’t enough, Nawras customers can use both Nawras and Oman Mobile networks at Nawras excellent value prices!

All Nawras customers are automatically provided access to our extended network coverage free of charge. For national roaming, your mobile handset will switch automatically between the Nawras EDGE network and the Oman Mobile network.
