With Nawras Ajel, you can make and receive calls and exchange SMS as if you were in Oman. All you need to do is have international roaming activated on your subscription before you can start using your mobile handset abroad. Visit a Nawras Store or Nawras Premium Partner to activate international roaming on your Ajel connection.
 

How to make calls while roaming:
If you are a Nawras Ajel (Postpaid) customer, you dial as you would do in the Nawras network by just including the country code (e.g. + 968 xxxxxxxx).

To call a number in Oman:
Dial the number with the country code of Oman (e.g. +968 xxxx xxxx).

To make a local call in the country you are roaming:
Dial the country code of the country you are roaming and the number (e.g. +966 xxxx xxxx, if you are roaming in Saudi Arabia).

To make an international call from the country you are roaming:
Dial the country code of the country and the number (e.g. +973 xxxx xxxx, if you wish to call Bahrain, when you are roaming in Saudi Arabia).

To call Nawras Customer Service:
Dial +968 9501 1500. This call will be charged as a normal roaming voice call to Oman.

To retrieve your Voice Messages:        
Dial +968 9501 1505.
Calls to your Voice Mail are charged as normal roaming voice calls to Oman, and calls diverted to Voice Mail are charged as both an incoming call and a call back to Oman.

If you want to avoid these costs and rather benefit from the free Missed Call Notice service while roaming, simply deactivate the divert to Voice Mail, as follows:

• Dial ##002# and press the OK button (also called CALL or YES button on certain phones). This will deactivate all your diverts.
   

• Voice Mail services can be activated again by diverting calls (on Busy, on Unreachable or on Unanswered) to the number +968 9501 1505.
