Nawras is the first mobile service provider in Oman to provide Data Roaming Service (also called GPRS Roaming) in all the GCC countries, UK, France, Japan, Turkey, Tunisia, Hong Kong, Serbia and Montenegro.

GPRS is a wireless data service that connects you to Internet, WAP and emails through your mobile phone. Nawras Ajel postpaid and Nawras Mousbak customers can send / receive emails, download files or simply browse the Internet from their mobile phone, PDA or a laptop with a Nawras Internet USB Modem while roaming abroad.

There are no additional settings or subscription charges for Data Roaming.

Nawras Internet Tariffs do not apply if you are using the Data Roaming service outside Oman. You will be charged as per the visited operator’s Data Roaming fee and service charge (mark-up).

Please note that Data Roaming is not currently available in Nawras Extended Coverage areas in Oman. 

As of today, Nawras offers 294 Data Roaming partners in 120 countries for Nawras Ajel customers.
