GPRS Settings
1. Go to Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Data communication > Data account > New account
2. Select Add
3. Set account type to PS-data
4. Click Select
5. Enter a name for the account as Nawras GPRS
6. Click Continue
7. Enter the access point name as isp.nawras.com.om
    Under APN and Username and Password leave it blank
8. Save
9. Now go back
10. Select Internet settings > Internet profiles
11. New profile > Add
12. Connect with > Choose the above created account (Nawras GPRS)
13. Save
14. Go Back
15. Select Settings for Java
16. Choose account you have just created

Email Settings
(As an example Gmail setting is shown below. Before setup, we suggest to please read Gmail Setup Information).

Go to Menu
Click on Messaging
Click on Email
Click on Settings
New account as xyz
Connect using (Nawras GPRS)
Email address ex. xyz@gmail.com
Connection type/Protocol as POP3
Incoming server (pop.gmail.com)
Username/Mailbox as xyz@gmail.com
Password (******************)
Outgoing server (smtp.gmail.com)
Advanced settings
Encryption
Set Incoming & Outgoing Server encryption to TLS/SSL
Incoming port as 995
Outgoing port as 465

Email Setup for Hotmail requires you to have a Hotmail Plus account which is a Paid service from Hotmail in order to get you emails on a mobile device other than a Windows Mobile PDA.

Gmail Setup Information
Option-I
Open the browser in your phone (after configuring Nawras GPRS above) and type in
http://www.gmail.com/app
It will ask you to download a Java file, install the file. Go to the menu and you will find Gmail in the software folder or the main menu itself
Choose Gmail application and enter your username / password to view emails

Option-II
How to do Gmail POP setting 1:
You have to activate POP setting from your Gmail Account
Open your Gmail account > Settings > Forwarding and POP > POP Download > 1.Stats: Enable POP for all mail (even mail that's already been downloaded) > save changes

*** To check POP setting from Gmail > 3. Configure your email client (e.g. Outlook, Eudora, Netscape Mail) > Configuration instructions > Mail Clients > other >
 

Incoming Mail (POP3) Server - requires SSL:	pop.gmail.com Use SSL: Yes Port: 995
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - requires TLS:	smtp.gmail.com (use authentication) Use Authentication: Yes Use STARTTLS: Yes (some clients call this SSL) Port: 465 or 587
Account Name:	your Gmail username (including @gmail.com)
Email Address:	your full Gmail email address (username@gmail.com)
Password:	your Gmail password
