The Role:
You will maintain Fiber Optic Network records which include as built maps and fiber assignment. You will provide support for the engineering team by maintaining documentation of critical fiber assignment, creating and designing Fiber maps, validating the fiber budget with documentation of link loss distance. You will also provide support for NRO in fiber optic network deployments, standardization, emergency restoration, and on site validation of installed fiber. You will conduct surveys to determine fiber routing and future marketing possibilities, assisting contractors with FOC installation.
Your role also includes the checking of as built drawings and other documentation from contractors, ensuring quality control of all As-built information for compliance with Nawras standards, providing excavation permission while ensuring the safety of Nawras FOC network You will also conduct surveys to determine the appropriate re routing of existing Fiber impacted by other projects.

The Person
You should be an Associate degree holder in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience within Telecommunications Background.

You should also be Capable of making decisions in critical situations, have a systematic approach to handling parallel tasks, Fluent in English, ,good knowledge of AutoCAD and other GIS software like ArcGIS Good Communication Skills, Well organized with a methodical mindset as well as Strong analytical skills combined with a deep technical understanding of technology.
