Easy Bill Payment
Nawras has partnered with BankMuscat and Oman Arab Bank to offer you more convenient, innovative and customer-friendly ways of paying your Ajel bills. With Nawras, lengthy queues are eliminated and payment processing is instant. You have a period of 30 days to settle your bill, either by cash, credit card, debit card or electronic transfer.

Nawras Ajel customers have over 300 bill payment channels ranging from BankMuscat and Oman Arab Bank branches to ATM payment and Internet banking.

At a Bank Counter
You can pay your Ajel bill by cash at any BankMuscat or Oman Arab Bank branch in Oman. To find a branch nearest to you, please visit www.bankmuscat.com  or www.omanab.com.

At a Cash Machine
Pay your Ajel bill through any BankMuscat or Oman Arab Bank cash deposit machine. To find a cash deposit machine nearest to you, please visit www.bankmuscat.com  or www.omanab.com.

Follow these simple steps to pay via BankMuscat Cash Machines:

1. Select ‘main utility bills’ and choose Nawras

2. Scan your Nawras bill with the bar code reader

3. Select cash deposit option

4. Deposit cash

5. Confirm deposit

Follow these simple steps to pay via Oman Arab Bank Cash Machines:

1. Press ‘enter’ and select ‘language’

2. Select ‘OAB’ or ‘bill payment’

3. Select ‘scanning bar code’

4. Click ‘deposit cash’

5. Click ‘yes’ to proceed or ‘no’ to go back to main menu

Payment Channels for BankMuscat Customers Only

At an ATM
If you are a BankMuscat customer, you can pay your Ajel bill through any BankMuscat ATM. Click here to find a BankMuscat ATM closest to you.

Insert your ATM card and enter your PIN number and follow these simple steps:

1. Press ‘other’ to get to the screen where the bill payment option is available

2. Select ‘bill payments’

3. Select ‘Nawras GSM’

4. Select ‘confirm’ to allow the bill to be paid

5. Key in your Nawras mobile number and the amount you wish to pay

6. If you are paying someone else’s bill, you need to key in that mobile number and enter the amount to be paid

For your next bill payment, you only have to:

1. Accept the mobile number on the screen

2. Key in the amount you wish to pay

3. Confirm the transaction details

Online
If you are a BankMuscat customer, you can pay your Ajel bill online. Click here to visit the BankMuscat online banking website. Set up your Nawras account and complete the transaction.

After entering your user name and password, follow these simple steps to set up your Nawras account:

1. Click on ‘personal settings’

2. Click on ‘utility/school fees setup’

3. Click on ‘new’ to get to your personal setting section

4. Click on the arrow and choose Nawras

5. Key in your Nawras account number and Nawras mobile number

6. Personalise your bill payment

7. Click OK

To pay your Nawras bill follow these simple steps:

1. Click on ‘services’

2. Click on ‘utility bills and school fees’

3. Choose Nawras

4. Key in your Nawras bill number and click ‘next’

5. Enter the amount to be paid and click ‘next’

6. Confirm transaction, then enter your post password and click ‘confirmed’

7. Click ‘OK’ to end

Over the Phone
If you are a BankMuscat customer, you can pay your Ajel bill over the phone by calling  BankMuscat’s 24-hour Call Centre on 800795555 between 7am and 11am to pre-register your bill.

To pay your bill call the automated services 24-hours a day on 800795555 and follow these simple steps:

1. Key in your customer number

2. Key in your Tele banking PIN number

3. Select ‘option for utility bills payment’

4. Select ‘payment of GSM’

5. Key in your Nawras mobile number

6. Key in the amount to be paid

7. Confirm transaction

8. Hang up
