Nawras with outstanding success at COMEX’06

Nawras, the Omani Qatari Telecommunications Company, the Sultanate’s customer-friendly communications provider, participation in Comex’06 turned up to be a true success story. During the five days of the event over 15,000 people visited the Nawras business and shopper stand at the exhibition. As a platinum sponsor of the event Nawras participated with state-of-the-art exhibition stands on both the business and shopper side as was recognised by the organizers with a special commemorative plaque award as the ‘Official Mobile Service Provider’ of COMEX’06.

At the Business Stand the main attraction was the Nawras Business Solutions, which are based on a modular approach allowing businesses to select components to meet their specific business needs. Salim Al-Ghatami, President of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry was extremely impressed when he conducted a live video telephony call with Nawras Shop Manager Mr. Hussain Al Shalwani in Sohar. Ahmed bin Saleh Rasmi, visiting the Nawras Business Stand, commented “I had heard a lot about the innovative Nawras Business Solutions but hearing is completely different from experiencing a live demonstration. The daily Golden Number draw attracted a lot of visitors to the stand, where customers who purchased any Nawras Mousbak or Nawras Ajel product entered a daily draw for a Golden mobile phone number.
