Nawras participates in two venues for Khareef 2006

Nawras, the Omani Qatari Telecommunications Company, the Sultanate's customer-friendly telecommunications provider, announced it will participate this year through sponsorship of two venues for Khareef in Salalah: Khareef Festival organised by Dhofar Municipality’s and Global Village’s Khareef event organised by Al-Shanfari Group. Khareef season in the Sultanate of Oman with its cool monsoon weather and popular festivals attracts over 400,000 visitors mainly families, from across the Sultanate, Gulf Cooperation countries and other regions. Events around Khareef run from 15th July-31 August 2006.

Nawras senior management and board members will tonight participate in Dhofar Municipality’s Khareef Festival’s official inauguration ceremony under the patronage of H.E. Eng. Ali bin Masoud Al-Sunaidi Minster of Sports Affair. Also on the 16th July Nawras will participate in the official opening ceremony of Global Village that will be under the patronage of H.E. Mohammed bin Hamoud Al-Tobi, undersecretary at the Ministry of Tourism. At both Khareef events there are lots of planned activities and entertainment as well as cultural and traditional events from across the Gulf and Middle East region.

Customers can purchase any Nawras Mousbak (Single, Duo or Quattro) and Mousbak Plus welcome pack and get double the normal talk time credit worth total of 5 RO.

There are 3 exciting handset bundle. Customers who purchase any Nawras Mousbak or Nawras Ajel product will enter a daily draw for a Golden mobile phone number. Customers are entitled to receive up to 3 vouchers for the Golden Number draw depending on the type of welcome pack purchased. The draw is conducted daily by the Shoppers Stand Managers at 9.30 pm, and the winner is contacted immediately on their newly purchased Nawras mobile number.
