Nawras customers benefit from new ONEC network

Nawras, the Omani Qatari Telecommunications Company, the Sultanate’s customer-friendly telecommunications provider, has entered into an agreement with Oman National Electric Company SAOG (ONEC). Increasing the choice of retail options for Nawras customers in an additional ten venues, Nawras SIM-cards will also be sold. This pact embellishes the convenience Nawras customers enjoy in locations as widespread as Bathina and Dhofar.

This is another step to even ‘get closer’ to Nawras customers ensuring even more convenient points of sales throughout the Sultanate. The agreement with ONEC clearly illustrates the Nawras pledge to provide best service, by presenting numerous points of sale and greater flexibility for Nawras customers, wherever they may be in Oman. Since launching, distribution channels have more than doubled and continue to grow rapidly.

“This further enhances the best quality experience that Nawras customers enjoy”, said Nawras’ Indirect Channel Sales Manager, Mr. Mohamed Mohsin Baqir Abdullatif. “We are delighted to work with ONEC to offer our customers greater flexibility with more dealers selling Nawras products across Oman. We have promised to deliver best service, best quality and best value and this agreement supports that pledge”.

ONEC, one of the leading utility-service companies operating in Oman, has been in existence for more than 28 years. Joining forces with the relatively new but already proven competency of Nawras, provides additional well-located sales points for customers over a large geographical area.

Commenting on the signing agreement, Mr. S. Afaq Ahmed, Senior Manager-Cash Management at ONEC, said, “We are so delighted to sign this agreement with Nawras, the agreement provide Nawras with advertising space within our ten selected branches in the interior. ONEC is 100% Omani Shareholding Company specialized in Utility & Engineering business since 1978”.
