Nawras launches Business Solutions

Nawras, the Sultanate’s customer-oriented communications provider, launched a number of business products and services under the umbrella Nawras Business Solutions at a gala dinner hosted for business executives at Muscat Grand Hyatt Monday evening.

Over 150 business leaders listened to a presentation delivered by Ross Cormack, Nawras CEO, and enjoyed a delicious gala dinner. The presentation focused on the different components of the Nawras Business Solutions, which had been developed based on collecting feedback from business people in order to understand their needs. Cormack said, “Our market research has clearly shown that there is no ‘one size fits all’ for the business market. Therefore, we have based the Nawras Business Solutions on a modular approach, allowing businesses to select components to meet their specific business needs. By combining the different components, we can build tailor-made solutions for the individual businesses and retain flexibility to add new products and services as their business requirements develop.”

Nawras has introduced best-in-class technology to support monthly payments through free bill payment services 24 hours a day 7 days a week. At Bank Muscat and Oman Arab Bank Nawras business customers can make their payments at over 300 payment channels, at any branch, ATM or Cash Deposit Machines, or by telephone banking or on-line banking. In addition, payments can be made at any Nawras store. With Nawras you can also trust that your payment goes through fast and smoothly, and it will be confirmed through SMS when payment has been received.

Number Notification Service
Nawras takes away the burden of informing family, friends and business colleagues of a Nawras customer’s new mobile number, by sending a free SMS with the new number to every selected contact in the customer’s mobile phonebook. The service is free of charge and only takes a few minutes to complete!

SIM Card Replacement service
If a SIM card gets lost or damaged, Nawras provides its customers with a new one with the same phone number, free of charge. By visiting a Nawras store, a replacement SIM will be provided within minutes.

A Twin-Card for your car phone or alternate mobile phone
Nawras eliminates the inconvenience of switching SIM cards between handsets. With Nawras Ajel Twin, Nawras customers have the convenience of using two duplicated SIM cards with the same mobile number. All services are activated on both SIM cards. Nawras Ajel Twin is ideal for customers having built-in car phones or multiple handsets.

Enjoy Nawras service all across the Sultanate
Based on a national roaming agreement with Oman Mobile, Nawras is providing the most comprehensive network coverage in the Sultanate, covering more than 90% of the population from the northern-most region of Musandum to the southern-most region of Dhofar. Nawras customers can either receive the news upon request or through a subscription service.
