Nawras honours its customers at Oman Awards for Excellence

Nawras, Oman’s new leading Mobile operator, known for doing things in a pleasingly different way, invited its milestone customers along with business partners including Gulf Telecommunication Company (Fono), MHD, Khimij Ramdas, Baabood, Lucky Phone and Modern House of phones to attend the Oman Awards for Excellence. The Oman Awards for Excellence event that was held yesterday at the Al Bustan Palace Hotel is an annual award programme that honours private sector company achievements in various categories supporting the Omani economy and society. Nawras itself could not compete at the event since they are less then one year in operation; a criterion required by the organisers to participate, but was keen to learn from the high quality contributions by the finalist..

Mr. Ross Cormack, Nawras CEO commented, “We wanted to thank our customers and key stakeholders by inviting them to attend the Oman Awards for Excellence. Representatives from Nawras’s sales partners and dealers were among those invited by Nawras to the award ceremony. In addition, Nawras invited their 10,000th customer Ms. Ameen Jundal, who was accompanied from Salalah by her spouse as well as inviting 50,000th Mr. Mohideen Mehar Zafar Ali, a Sri Lankan employed in one of the prominent Muscat hotels, to attend the ceremony.

Ms. Jundal commented “My husband and I were extremely touched when Nawras called me to inform me about invitation to come up to Muscat to attend the Oman Award for Excellence. Nawras is a mobile company that really cares for its customers and always tries to get closer to them.” Mr. Ali added, “My own job is focused on delivering high quality customer service and so I always appreciate receiving high quality service such as I enjoy with Nawras”.
