Missed Call Notice-Another Great Service from Nawras for all customers

Nawras the leading mobile operator in Oman delivers another great service to the people of the Sultanate. Nawras is offering customers another brand new service they told us they wanted. This is Missed Call Notice, which allows customers to see who called them during a period of time when they were not reachable. This service comes as part of Nawras’s strategy of offering best value, best quality and best services.

Ross Cormack, Nawras’ CEO commented, “We are extremely pleased to be able to offer the Missed Call Notice service to all our valued customers, whether they are Prepaid or Postpaid. As market leaders in providing best value mobile communication services, Nawras will continue to enhance customer experience by delivering exciting new offers and services, in order to meet the needs of our current and future customers. ”

He went on to add, “Coupled with our recent announcement that we now cover the Sultanate, from the northern most region of Musandum to the southern most region of Dhofar at Nawras’s best value prices, Missed Call Notice service is providing our customers with even greater value. With Missed Call Notice, our customers can remain close to their family and friends, no matter where they travel within or outside the Sultanate.”

As a first in Oman, Missed Call Notice is provisioned and available free of charge to customers. Tore Solberg, Nawras Marketing Director explained, “Our goal is to offer our customers choice as well as easy-to-use services, and the Missed Call Notice is just another example of how we do this. We give our customers different options such that they can select the service that best meets their needs. Nawras customers get Voice Mail service free of charge by default, however if they prefer to benefit from the Missed Call Notice service instead, they can simply deactivate call divert to Voice Mail when “Not Reachable”, and Missed Call Notice will be automatically configured.” The Missed Call Notice service will notify customers about any missed calls during a period of time when the customer has not been reachable. Solberg commented; “As an example if you are going into an important meeting and do not want to be disturbed you can switch off your mobile handset, Missed Call Notice will capture all your important calls, with maximum of fifteen different numbers, once you switch on your mobile handset again. When you switch on your mobile handset or are back in network coverage, you will receive an SMS message listing the numbers of missed calls including the number the date and time of these missed calls.”

He went on to add “This new and exciting service is available for all Nawras customers, whether they are nawras Mousbak, nawras Mousbak Plus (Prepaid) or nawras Ajel (Postpaid) customers. At Nawras we ensure to deliver great services to both our Prepaid and Postpaid customers, since we believe all our valued customers should benefit from Nawras’ exciting value added services without differentiation. Furthermore, on the contrary to what people are used to from our competition, we offer services free of activation and monthly charges. Examples include Voice Mail, Caller Identification, Call Wait/Call Hold and GPRS/EDGE data access.
