Nawras sponsors Summer Book Fair in Ibra

Nawras Oman’s leading mobile operator is sponsoring the Summer Book Fair in the Sharqiya South region that is in association with Talib Al-Marifa Bookshop in Ibra from 2-14 July. The Fair will be held at the Educational Supervision Center in DG Education in Ibra. Nawras who is renown in the Sultanate for doing things in a pleasing different way in actively participating sponsoring community related activates.

Haitham bin Abdullah Al-Kharusi Nawras Head of Corporate Affairs remarked, “At Nawras we recognise the summer period is long-time and young Omani students needs activities that will keep them active and busy and we wanted to help with initiatives that supports the youth of Oman and one such way is sponsoring the Summer Book Fair in Ibra. Nawras is an Omani national company and is proud reach out and assist in social initiative all over the Sultanate”.

On the occasion the Wali of Ibra commented “We are extremely pleased that Nawras is good corporate citizen and is sponsoring the Summer Book Fair. The Fair in an initiative by the Director General of Education in order to get young Omani boys and girls to spend their summer holidays in productive way by relaxing by reviewing various books and purchasing those that really interest them and enjoying reading them in their homes and sharing it with their families once they finish. We are expecting to get young Omani students visitors from the various near wilyats Qabil, Badbiya, Wadi Bin Khalid, Wadi Dima & Tayaan and Wilyat Al Mudiyba”.
