Nawras sponsors Oman Association for the Disabled visit to Khareef Festival

Nawras, the Sultanate's most customer-friendly mobile operator, has recently announced that it will sponsor the Oman Association for the Disabled annual visit to Khareef Festival. At a ceremony held at the premises of Oman Association for the Disabled Sheikh Abdullah bin Essa Al-Rawahi Nawras Chief Technical Advisor presented Mr. Mokhtar bin Mohammed Al-Rawahi President of the association with a financial donation from Nawras in order to assist the team representing the association to participate in Khareef Salalah.

Six representatives from the association will travel to Salalah this week to participate in the Khareef Festival for a period of 15 days where the association will have a kiosk at main grounds of the festivals. Mr. Mukhtar bin Mohammed Al-Rawahi said “The purpose of the Oman Association for the Disabled to participate in the Khareef Festival is to raise awareness about the association and its different functions and activities. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Nawras for coming further at short notice and supporting us at our time of need in order to facility our members visit to Khareef.”

Speaking from the association’s main office in Shatti Al-Qurm Sheikh Abdullah Al-Rawahi commented “Nawras and the Oman Association for the Disabled had signed a memorandum of understanding last year in order to work closely together on assisting the association in developing its programs and activities as well as sponsoring their noble causes.” Haitham bin Abdullah Al-Kharusi Nawras Head of Corporate Affairs added, “Nawras is a caring Omani company that is proud to partner with the Oman Association for the Disabled and looks forward to work with the association in future projects that help in enriching the lives of those people in our society that most need our support. Helping the disabled to participating in the Khareef Festival is one such way.”
