Nawras Celebrates 1st Anniversry Of 3G+ With Half Price Data

Nawras, in celebratory mood with the imminent first anniversary of its 3G+ services, National Day and the forthcoming holiday season, is giving an incredible 50% discount on all pay-as-you-go data usage for customers enjoying 3G+ Mobile Info Browsing and Broadband Internet. From 18th November until 12th December 2008, the first 3G+ provider in the Sultanate is giving customers discounted data in a move expected to help more and more people explore this exciting area of communication.

When 3G+ services were launched in 2007, all Nawras SIM-cards were automatically upgraded, allowing all customers to immediately begin enjoying the benefits of this technology. In other parts of the world, operators did not make such a bold move as Nawras and customers in those countries were required to buy a new SIM-card to enjoy 3G+.

Supported by the stability and quality of the Nawras 3G+ networks, the first anniversary pay-as-you-go data discount can be enjoyed by all Nawras Mousbak (prepaid) and Nawras Ajel (postpaid) customers. Subscriptions to the Broadband Internet Silver, Gold, Platinum or the 48hour unlimited price plan are excluded.

New customers joining this award-winning mobile operator during the National Day Offer period are eligible by default to enjoy the pay-as-you-go data plan from the day their Nawras SIM-card is activated. This includes all those using mobile number portability to move from the other operator to join Nawras while keeping their original number.

The discounted data credit can be used to surf the web or send and receive emails as customers can use their handsets to access Mobile Info Browsing which is supported by the latest technology of the Nawras 3G+ network. Those currently outside the 3G+ coverage can benefit with Nawras Email which is based on the reliable Nawras world-class EDGE network

Customers can also use their computers with a modem like the E220 or a router to connect to 3G+ Broadband Internet and Nawras Internet.
