NAWRAS WIRELESS DATA LINK GIVES LEASED LINES MOBILITY

Nawras is thrilled to launch the Nawras Wireless Data Link (NWDL) giving the company’s corporate customers a new mobile data service with a point-to-point connectivity over the reliable Nawras Network. In announcing this latest news, the Middle East Mobile Operator of the Year has pointed out the service’s major advantages of availability, mobility, speed of installation, ease of operation and cost-effectiveness.

Nawras is the only company in the Sultanate to offer leased lines wherever customers require them. Being mobile means there are no location restrictions and Nawras can quickly set up a NWDL for any company anywhere within the extensive coverage area of the Nawras Network.

Being mobile and responding quickly to customer requests, enables Nawras to establish this communication link within days making both connectivity delays and waiting lists a thing of the past. Nawras understands that businesses need their requests handled in a swift, efficient and customer friendly manner.

NWDL is a cost-effective solution which can be used for a variety of purposes including ATMs for banks, network cameras, vehicle monitoring devices, security systems, traffic boards, weather stations, remote electrical meter data capturing and credit card verifications through point of sale terminals. Customers are charged a one-time fee of RO49 per line for set up with a tier of volume discounts for multiple lines leading up to a 75% reduction on the cost of establishing between 20 and 49 lines. Companies selecting more than 50 lines are exempt from this charge.

Flexibility is provided through two monthly plans which are based on speed. Plan one at RO59 gives a maximum speed of 64 kbps and plan two is priced at RO139 for the faster speed of 384 kbps. Naturally customers can rely on the dependability and quality of the Nawras Network whichever plan is selected. Nawras currently covers 96% of the population with its world-class network, using national roaming where necessary and always with Nawras great value.

Security is guaranteed through a dedicated APN (Access Point Number) that will only permit data traffic between the device or unit containing the Nawras SIM-card and the customer’s commanding office. Customers purchase a Router along with their SIM-card to begin the service.
