Nawras celebrated 4th anniversary with biggest cake ever baked in Oman

Nawras is known for always being creative in delivering services and products and even when staging events so it was no surprise that when the company recently celebrated its fourth anniversary, it wasn’t a normal celebration but one full of innovation that set new records.

Impossible to miss, the enormous anniversary cake consisted of four tiers and took centre stage. Having prepared such an incredible creation, the bakers classified it as the biggest cake ever baked in the Sultanate. Weighing in at a whopping 100 kg, the cake contained huge quantities of flour, sugar, vanilla, and strawberry and was decorated with icing in the colours of the Nawras logo.

Hussein Bin Mohammad Al-Fadhil, corporate affairs team leader said: 'We always aim to achieve excellence and innovation in all that we do and our celebrations are clear evidence of this approach. In our four year celebration the idea was to use the number 4 in all of the details of the event and the cake was one of the most important details. The huge cake was a creative idea from Nawras and everybody wanted to take pictures with it before tucking in.”

CEO Ross Cormack and COO Khalid Al-Mahmoud, jointly performed the ceremonial task of cutting the impressive cake before customers, the Nawras family and surprised passersby enjoyed the delicious confectionery.

In another creative move, the fourth anniversary celebration was held in the car park of the company’s main office which was imaginatively decorated with colourful ribbons. The number ‘4’ was present in many areas of the celebration which was designed to reflect the four years that customers in the Sultanate have enjoyed pleasingly different Nawras service.
