Nawras, the Sultanate’s customer-friendly communications provider, is a proud sponsor for the third consecutive year, of the exciting Muscat Festival 2007. Nawras will operate a stand at Al Qurm Park, and at the festival site on Al Athaiba beach. This action is in line with the active role Nawras plays in supporting both the local community and various government initiatives. Muscat Festival is considered one of the most important festivals in the Sultanate and is expected to once again, attract thousands of visitors from all over the Sultanate and further afield including GCC countries. Nawras will be offering a number of sensational offers to celebrate welcoming more than 500,000 customers to the fastest growing family in Oman.

Celebrate Nawras Offers
During the festival time, the Nawras Mousbak (prepaid) welcome pack is available at a price of RO 9 and in addition, customers will receive a bonus RO 10 credit. Nawras Mousbak customers will initially receive RO 5 credit on activation of the SIM-card and then for each of the following five months commencing from March 2007, Nawras will credit the customer with additional RO 1 each month.

For those joining Nawras and choosing the Nawras Ajel and Nawras Ajel Duo (postpaid) welcome pack offer, a RO 10 credit will be given for each SIM-card purchased. The credit will appear on the customers first bill.

Furthermore for all new customers choosing to move to Nawras and transferring their number from the other operator, the regular charge of RO 3 will be waived during the promotion when you join Nawras with at least one other person, making it the ideal time to join Nawras with friends, colleagues or family members.

Existing Nawras customers have not been forgotten and when buying a Recharge Card or Electronic Recharge for RO 8 or more, they will receive an extra 25% talk-time credit for FREE to use for national voice calls to other Nawras customers within 30 days from recharge.

All these special Muscat Festival offers are available from the 1st of January until the 28th of February at any Nawras Store or Kiosk and through Nawras Premium Dealers, and are for both current and future Nawras customers. Nawras Internet can be used for checking emails, sending and receiving SMS, downloading files, managing phonebook contacts, accessing corporate intranet or simply browsing the Internet from a desktop computer or laptop. Nawras will showcase the very convenient Nawras Internet USB Modem that helps connect a laptop or desktop to the Internet through a simple USB interface, allowing customers to acquire an Internet connection for a fee as low as RO 3 per month.

Nawras Rewards Celebration
During the Festival, promoters at both festival locations will educate visitors and demonstrate detailed information about the Nawras Rewards program. They will also give away booklets with information about all partners and available discounts for Nawras Customers. Visitors to Nawras Stalls will also be able to participate in the Nawras Rewards daily draw where 10 lucky visitors will win prizes from Nawras Rewards partners. To enter, one simply goes to one of the Nawras Stalls and picks up a coupon that, ones completed, goes into the draw box. Lucky winners will be contacted everyday after the draw and they can come either the same day or the next day to pick up their prizes.
