Nawras Gets Closer by opening convenient new Kiosk at Lulu Hypermarket, Al Burj Complex

Nawras, the Sultanate’s customer-friendly communications provider, opened a new Nawras Kiosk yesterday at the latest Lulu hypermarket in the Al Burj complex at Al Seeb, adding another convenient location to its existing portfolio of 15 Nawras Stores and Kiosks. Nawras Chairman, Sheik Saif Al-Maskery, initiated the proceedings, with H.E. Dr. Juma Bin Ali Al Juma, Minister of Manpower, performing the honours at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Following the presentation of a Nawras memento to His Excellency, Nawras Event and Sponsorship Manager, Khalid Al-Zadjali, explained the range of products and quality of service that have contributed to the Nawras success story. He spoke of the Nawras wish to always be in the most convenient location for customers and explained that the new Nawras Kiosk in Seeb will serve the rapidly-growing communities in that area. The latest Nawras Kiosk is managed by Mishal Al Zadjali, and open seven days a week, from 10:00am until 1:00pm and from 2:00pm until 10:00pm, occupying a very convenient location right next to the checkout counter, on the hypermarket’s ground floor.

H.E. Dr. Juma Bin Ali Al Juma, Minister of Manpower, said, “The Sultanate of Oman, under the wise leadership of His Majesty, is enjoying extensive growth, creating a strong economy and developing an experienced workforce. This can be seen through the privatization of a lot of sectors which have become very important, the lifeblood of the country. This is especially true of the telecommunications sector where doors have been opened for competition, which in turn improves services and raises standards to international levels. Besides that, the labour force is growing well and Omanis are occupying many positions of seniority and responsibility. We have his Majesty’s Government to thank for that.”

His Excellency, continued, “Nawras has been innovative and used the opportunities of Omanisation to raise levels in the telecom industry. Today, I am proud to open this outlet at the Al Burj complex which will be a point to continue giving best telecom service. The community will benefit and I salute Nawras for the important steps they have taken and the way the company is growing, whilst employing a higher percentage of Omanis, than stipulated. I thank those who are leading Nawras and focusing on this important industry which is contributing to the growth of people and business. I wish all Nawras staff the very best and encourage them to use the opportunities that His Majesty’s Government has given.”

There are now a total of four Nawras Kiosks located within Lulu hypermarkets, this latest venue being added to those already successfully operating in Bausher, Darsait and Sohar. For the complete range of Nawras products and services, customers are welcomed at any one of the 16 Nawras Stores and Kiosks. Each sells welcome packs for Nawras Ajel (postpaid) and Nawras Mousbak (prepaid), recharge cards and replacement SIM-cards. Customers may also buy prepaid credit through E-Recharge, pay a bill, or try out the latest handsets and the wireless Nawras Internet connection. All Nawras Stores and Kiosks are manned by friendly professionals who will always happily explain what makes the Nawras customer experience so special, demonstrate the products to give a practical example of the Nawras experience and explain exactly how Nawras provides excellent value, pleasingly different service and high quality.

Nawras also has over 500 dealers from whom customers can purchase Nawras prepaid and postpaid welcome packs as well as other Nawras products. In addition, Nawras provides 10,000 convenient locations across the Sultanate for customers to purchase their prepaid recharge cards. Each site allows Nawras to ‘Get closer’ to its customers and Nawras customers to easily ‘Get closer’ to family, friends, colleagues and clients.
