Nawras customers can now benefit from basmaRewards programme

Nawras, the Sultanate’s customer friendly communications provider, has taken another exciting step forward, further enriching the Nawras customer experience by signing a contract to participate in the extensive basmaRewards programme. Significantly, this means that Nawras becomes the only official telecommunications partner in this popular rewards programme operating throughout the Sultanate. Nawras joins the three other basmaRewards partners, namely BankMuscat, the largest banking entity in Oman, Oman Oil Marketing Company, the only 100% Omani-owned fuel marketing company in the Sultanate and Lulu Hypermarkets, the unique concept in modern shopping.

With the combination of the four basmaRewards partners and all other participating outlets, there are over 100 locations for the accumulation of basmaPoints. These can be used as currency throughout the basmaRewards programme, bringing even greater benefits to Nawras customers. With fuel, food, finance and telecommunication being four key basic needs of people today, Nawras has once again gone the extra mile to offer yet more value to its customers by joining the basmaRewards programme, thereby expanding the pleasingly different service Nawras customers already enjoy.

“Now basmaCard holders have another reason to smile, as they can enjoy gaining additional basmaPoints whenever they choose to shop at a bright and friendly Nawras Store,” said Haitham Al Kharousi, Nawras Head, Offer Management and Corporate Affairs. “In addition, Nawras customers with a basmaCard also have the convenience of recharging their Nawras Mousbak accounts by redeeming the points they amass in exchange for recharge cards, at one of our 15 Nawras Stores nationwide. It is a fabulous arrangement for our mutual customers,” Al Kharousi concluded.

Nawras customers can become basmaCard holders by simply spending 20 RO or more on Nawras branded products at any Nawras Store. Thereafter they can begin to collect basmaPoints each time they purchase a Nawras branded product, by receiving the equivalent of 2% of their total bill in the currency of basmaPoints. The accumulation of points can be used towards a wide range of shopping privileges.

Nawras Stores provide one-stop shopping venues for the purchase of the latest handsets, Nawras Internet and Nawras welcome packs, settlement of accounts, and Nawras recharge cards or electronic recharge. Friendly assistance and advice from Nawras Store representatives is always available and Nawras Store visitors also have the opportunity to try out the latest exciting 3G technology, the future of telecommunications exclusively available from Nawras.
