Nawras is proud sponsor of His Majesty’s Cup Final

Nawras, the Sultanate’s customer friendly communications provider, is extremely proud to support the exciting major sporting event, the final of His Majesty’s Cup, this evening at the Sultan Qaboos Complex in Bowsher. Recognising the value of young people in our society and acknowledging the increasing importance of sport in the day-to-day lives of so many Omanis, Nawras is delighted to enhance this special occasion and add to the excitement. The company will offer stadium door prizes and run a SMS competition, in which all Nawras customers are invited to become involved by making their selection for the ‘Nawras Man of the Match’. The player chosen to receive the honour of this title will be presented with an impressive cash prize of RO 1000 as Nawras acknowledges the sporting skills and professionalism of the player and creates additional excitement for those attending the match. Upon entering the stadium, all supporters will be given a flyer explaining the details of the SMS competition, together with a coupon with which the holder is eligible to enter the half-time raffle when fabulous Nawras prizes will be given away. With thousands of fans expected to support their favourite team at the stadium and many more being riveted by the action as they watch television in their homes and coffee shops, Nawras is particularly delighted to be associated with this prestigious event bearing the name of His Majesty, and regarded as the highlight of the Omani football calendar.

Fans who are Nawras customers, simply need to choose ‘S’ for Sur or ‘D’ for Dhofar together with the number on the shirt of the player they wish to nominate, for example D10 or S7, and send the choice by SMS to 90500. All those taking part in the SMS competition will be eligible for a draw at the end of the match, in which two Nawras Diamond Numbers will be given away. Nawras will also provide valuable prizes for the half-time raffle, when one lucky stadium fan will become the recipient of a prestigious laptop together with a wireless Nawras Internet connection, while a second winner will receive a stylish i-mate with a Nawras Ajel and others will find themselves the proud owners of a number of Nawras welcome packs.

Prior to kick off, invited children will kick Nawras branded footballs into the crowd and all fans will receive free flags featuring both teams, to be distributed by Nawras to add to the thrilling atmosphere of the event.
