Nawras Rewards Programme Becomes Even More Attractive

Nawras, the Sultanate's customer-friendly communications provider, has made its Nawras Rewards Programme even more attractive. With a number of new partners, it is now possible for customers to receive discounts that exceed their mobile expenses. From modest beginnings, just one year later, the impressive programme now features more than 40 partners and over 120 outlets, resulting in amazing discounts and savings for Nawras Mousbak (prepaid) and Nawras Ajel (postpaid) customers.

Nawras was the first mobile operator in Oman to introduce a customer rewards programme, initially beginning with 16 partners and approximately 30 outlets in October 2005. Wishing to provide an avenue to give extra value to customers, Nawras has invested time to set up partnerships with companies all over Muscat and throughout the Sultanate. Partners can be categorized as ‘dining, entertainment, service or special products’ and each time a Nawras customer visits one of the Nawras Rewards Partners, they can benefit from instant savings.

“This is another ‘first’ from Nawras” Adnan Idrees, Customer Relationship Manager, explained. “We wanted to enhance the experience for Nawras customers and exceed expectations with the Nawras Rewards programme. Customers are pleasantly surprised that with so many different partners offering a diverse choice of services and products, they can be making considerable savings on a daily basis, indeed these can even equal or exceed the total of their monthly mobile phone expenses.”

To take advantage of these special offers, Nawras customers simply send an SMS to the Nawras short-code 90500 with the keyword assigned to the relevant Nawras Rewards partner, and within seconds they are closer to fantastic privileges. For example, by sending an SMS with the keyword PH1 assigned to Pizza Hut in Qurum, Muscat, the Nawras customer will receive an SMS response message indicating that he/she is eligible for the Nawras Rewards benefit. By showing this SMS to the staff at Pizza Hut in Qurum, the Nawras customer will receive the special offer agreed between Nawras and Pizza Hut. Each of the Nawras Rewards partners will have a display at the area where customers pay their bills, to highlight the Nawras Reward offer with that particular partner.
