To make a video call, both caller and receiver have to be Nawras customers with 3G+ enabled mobile handsets in 3G+ coverage area.

Both rates are applicable for calls within the Sultanate to other Nawras customers within the 3G+ coverage. All prices are applicable for National usage only, while roaming, international roaming rates apply.

Nawras Video Calling is automatically available to Nawras prepaid and postpaid customers. A 3G+ symbol will appear under the network strength indicator. If the 3G+ symbol does not appear, this means that you do not come under the coverage of the 3G+ network. In order to do it manually, choose Tools > Settings > Network.

In the Network mode, please make sure that it is set on Dual Mode. Some phones support three types of network modes.

1. GSM Mode
   Use this option when you do not want to use 3.5G.
    

2. UMTS Mode
   Use this option when you want to use 3.5G only. If there is no 3.5G coverage, the mobile will not automatically switch to 2.5G.
    

3. Dual Mode
   Select this mode if you want to have the ability to use 3.5G and 2.5G whenever there is coverage. In order to switch from 3.5G to 2.5G in case of no coverage, you should always have the network mode on dual Mode (in some phones it is called Auto Mode).
